Congratulations to the Create! Art for Autism winners and all of the autistic Artists! More than 550 entries were received... the four categories – 2D Art, 3D Art, Digital Art and Poetry.
Now in its second year, the competition is open to all young people aged 11 to 25 years who have formally been diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder [Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) including Asperger's Syndrome]. Every one of the finalists' will be included in a national art tour across four UK cities - Cardiff, Bristol, Brimingham and London.
The judging panel, was led by British actress Jane Asher and television and radio presenter Gaby Roslin.

The competition aims to dispel the myth that people with autism cannot be creative and to show that art can significantly improve their quality of life, facilitating experiential-based learning and instilling life-long skills. There are great prizes up for grabs - from digital cameras to video cameras to art supplies - and don't forget that both the winning individual and school get a prize!
