Sensory Friendly Films at AMC Theatres - In Partnership with the Autism Society

Sensory Friendly Films

Happy Holidays!
The next Sensory-Friendly Film showing is the movie Frozen in 2D Gather up your kids and their friends on Saturday December 7th at 10:00am AMC Theatres!

We Bring AMC Sensory Friendly Films to Families Affected by Autism on a Monthly Basis to Select Communities.
The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!

Photo: This Saturday December 7th at 10:00am AMC Theatres is having a Sensory Friendly Film showing of Frozen in 2D.

For those that don't know, Sensory Friendly Films are first run movies but the volume isn't as loud, the lights aren't as dark and walking around is not only allowed but encouraged. Its the perfect venue for those with sensory issues. I've taken my boys and its worth the experience

As a leading theatrical exhibition company, we are so proud to be making a difference in the estimated 1.5 million Americans living with an autism spectrum disorder by offering families a chance to see a movie together — often for the very first time.

See if there is a Sensory-Friendly Films showtime in you community!
