Our goal is to help as many schools each year as possible so more students with disabilities can increase time in the classroom with peers. Sensory items that can be used at a student’s desk or within the classroom can help ensure increased classroom time.
Other items, such as assisted technology, can help ensure students who struggle with communication, can increase school success. Special swings, gliders, balance balls, and similar items can help students with sensory needs or other challenges with concentration, focus, and calming activity. The annual school supply drive is one way we help “mind the gap” in education.
