I Want to Be A "Famous People Players".

"... dreams can come true when you believe in yourself!"

Episode Image   Lucy is asked by a developmentally challenged friend, Paul (guest star Gordon Billinger), to convince his brother and sister-in-law to let him join a traveling troupe of puppeteers, "The Famous People Players". Meanwhile, Eric is feeling low because he is stuck at home recovering from surgery and really wants to get back to work despite doctor's restrictions, so Annie asks the kids to help make him feel needed by going to him with their problems. Ruthie takes this suggestion to heart and secretly tells Eric how he should be helping everyone with their romantic entanglements. His meddling leads to chaos for everyone involved. Lastly, Kevin learns that Ben is planning to extend his temporary stay in Glenoak. (PFF video)

Company Overview
Next to the moon and the stars Famous PEOPLE Players are the best thing to see in the dark!

Using the black-light technique, the stage comes alive as the animated props painted in fluorescent colours and life-size famous people from Elvis to Tina Turner whirl and dance to popular music in a fast-paced, humorous and uniquely imaginative show.

Discovered by Liberace in 1974, Famous PEOPLE Players ...delighted Las Vegas audiences when they opened Liberace's show and received critical acclaim for their performances at Radio City Music Hall, on Broadway and as far east as Japan.

The Famous PEOPLE Players have been the subject of a CBS movie-of-the-week called "Special People", and have been profiled on numberous American talk shows, including Good Morning America, The Phil Donahue Show and Live with Regis and Kathie Lee to name a few. They have also been featured on an episode of 7th Heaven and are currently seen on Treehouse Network's children's TV show, Roll Play.

In 1994, Famous PEOPLE Players opened the first theatre centre in the world dedicated to people with special needs. This theatre centre was made possible through the generosity of Paul Newman from sales of Newman's Own products and Phil Collins who sponsored the Phil Collins Performance Workshop, as well as major donations from corporations and individuals.

In addition to Paul Newman and Phil Collins, Famous PEOPLE Players has earned the respect of the entertainment industry from celebrities such as Dan Aykroyd, Tom Cruise, Leslie Nielsen, Marvin Hamlisch and many others.

Famous PEOPLE Players never fail to prove - What you see is sensational; what you don't see is inspirational.
