IPads help Iowa second-grade teachers differentiate instruction | SmartBrief

An iPad initiative in Britt, Iowa, is helping second-grade teachers individualize instruction by targeting skills with which students struggle. Teachers use the iPads to record students as they read aloud to improve their reading skills and show parents during conferences, or practicing math skills with an app. "There are a lot of apps for the students to keep working at their level. The apps constantly challenge them as an independent student," teacher Pamela Aitchison said.
