What TO DO?!

'What TO DO?!

The earthquake has ceased.
The hurricane has been downgraded to a tropical storm.
The storm has passed.
Pub at the end of the rainbowThe sun is shining!

BUT!
The mandatory evacuation alert has not been lifted.
Can't locate loved ones.
The power is still out.
The streets are flooded.
Residences are inaccessible and/or uninhabitable.
Power lines are live and hanging from trees.
The wind is still blowing tree limbs down.
The water has not stopped flowing over the river banks.
The food stores are closed.
Can't access $.
Forgot Rx in the fridge at the damaged office building.
Insufficient funds to continue paying for a hotel...

Eventually...,
The shelters will close, whether your residence is habitable or not.
You will return to work, whether the schools or open or not.
The Utility Bills will show up in the mail!
The mortgage and car note still need to be paid!

Neither rain nor sleet nor Hurricane Irene will prevent soldiers from standing sentry at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery
